- 1st period only: Begin reading Chapter 4, OMM, noting significant quotes that are relevant to theme.

- Short Answers Practice (Crossover Question): Read "I Wish I Was a Poet" and "Sunday Morning Early," and answer the question, "What similar messages do the two pieces convey?" in no more than ten lines, using evidence from both selections to support your answer. Read the sample responses afterwards and correct any mistakes that you might have made in your own answer. You can find the passages and responses here. (I know I posted them too late in the day; I will give you a little bit of time in class tomorrow to rewrite your answer.)
