- Take notes on STAAR Short answer/paragraph terms (only copy the slide that has paragraph terminology compared to DJ terminology; read the slide on STAAR scoring for short answers)

- Write a short answer response to "HB." Pick one character from the story: How would you describe them? Use no more than ten lines; make sure your TS has a vocab word in it and that you're using TS/CD/CM/CS format. Example provided here (see last slide)

- Read non-fiction articles for "Harrison Bergeron" on fairness and equality (1, 2, 3, or 4) and summarize on a separate sheet of paper:
